The Divide (2011) is a gripping apocalyptic horror film that delves into the psychological and physical degradation of a group of survivors trapped in a basement following a nuclear explosion in New York City.

Ultimately, Eva emerges as a reluctant survivor who must navigate these horrors. In a desperate bid for freedom, she escapes through the septic system after witnessing the complete breakdown of her fellow survivors. The film concludes with Eva emerging into the desolate remains of the city, symbolizing both survival and profound loss.
