The Christmas Chronicles, a holiday adventure from producer Chris Columbus (“Home Alone”, “Harry Potter”) and director Clay Kaytis (“The Angry Birds Movie”), tells the story of sister and brother, Kate (Darby Camp) and Teddy Pierce (Judah Lewis), whose Christmas Eve plan to catch Santa Claus (Kurt Russell) on camera turns into an unexpected journey that most kids could only dream about. After staking out Santa’s arrival, they sneak into his sleigh, cause it to crash and nearly derail Christmas.

As the holiday season approaches in 2025, the North Pole faces its biggest challenge yet. When a mysterious force disrupts Santa’s magical network, Christmas itself is put at risk. The world is plunged into uncertainty, and Santa’s Workshop is left without the power it needs to run. Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, and a group of mischievous, tech-savvy elves must team up to restore the spirit of Christmas.

This adventure will introduce us to Santa’s newest helper, Emma, a young girl with a deep belief in the magic of Christmas. Emma discovers a hidden North Pole relic in her hometown—a magical ornament that holds the key to reviving Christmas. Guided by Mrs. Claus’s voice through a mystical snow globe, Emma sets off on a journey to the North Pole to restore the power of Christmas.

Alongside Emma is a reformed winter spirit named Frost, once a notorious troublemaker now seeking redemption. As they travel, they face obstacles that test their strength, including the mysterious Frost Storm—a phenomenon threatening to cover the world in endless snow.

With time running out and Christmas Eve drawing near, Emma, Frost, and the elves must unlock the full power of the magical relic and bring Santa’s workshop back to life. Only then can they restore the Northern Lights that guide Santa’s sleigh, sending him on his way to deliver joy to the world.

It’s Christmas Eve, and Santa Claus (Kurt Russell) and Mrs. Claus (Goldie Hawn) are back in action in the North Pole, preparing for a joyful holiday season. After two years of successful Christmases, Santa’s workshop is operating at full steam, powered by Christmas cheer and the diligent work of the elves. However, trouble is brewing as a mysterious winter storm threatens to engulf the North Pole, and its magical barrier is beginning to weaken.

The source of the storm is a powerful artifact hidden long ago — The Heart of Winter, a gemstone that absorbs warmth and radiates icy energy. It has started pulsing with renewed strength, drawing colder and darker clouds over the North Pole. As it turns out, the Heart of Winter is waking up because it senses someone with a deep grudge against Christmas trying to use its powers.

Meanwhile, siblings Kate (Darby Camp) and Teddy (Judah Lewis), now older and wiser, are spending the holidays together with their family in a small snowy mountain town. They sense something odd about the storm, noticing that it seems to follow them wherever they go. Soon, they encounter a new character, Ella, a mysterious and enchanting girl who knows about the Heart of Winter. She reveals that her great-grandfather once owned the artifact but lost it in a battle with Santa to protect the joy of Christmas.

Santa arrives in town and, recognizing Ella as the descendant of an old friend, asks the siblings to join him on an adventure to find and contain the Heart of Winter. As they venture into the enchanted and frozen landscapes of the North, they face multiple challenges: snow monsters, ancient traps, and a time limit before the Heart fully awakens and shrouds the world in endless winter.

With Mrs. Claus’s guidance from the workshop and the teamwork of Kate, Teddy, Ella, and Santa, they manage to reach the hidden cave where the Heart of Winter lies. In a climactic showdown, they face the spirit of Ella’s ancestor, who has been bound to the artifact all these years, driven by a mixture of sadness and anger. After a heartfelt confrontation, Ella manages to talk her ancestor down, explaining that the joy of Christmas lives on in their family and around the world. The Heart of Winter is calmed, and the storm dissipates, restoring peace to the North Pole.

The group returns home just in time for Christmas morning, where they share stories of their journey and appreciate the warmth and magic that Christmas brings. Santa and Mrs. Claus fly off, reminding everyone that Christmas miracles happen when love and joy triumph over fear and darkness.

As their wild night unfolds, Kate and Teddy work together with Santa – as you’ve never seen him before – and his loyal Elves to save Christmas before it’s too late.
